I, too, have an old kitchen (1910 home), and this tour gave me wonderful ideas about how to balance charm with efficiency.. Someone asked this earlier, but if there was an answer, I missed it: Where does the kitchen island come from? It appears sturdier and bigger than IKEA's, but maybe that's camera angle.
