My third place is the dog park. Smack dab in the middle of the city (Minneapolis) there is a wonderful forested area along the Mississippi where dogs run free, roll in mud, or go for a swim. It's so relaxing and I always feel like my problems are so far away when I'm there. And I don't have to buy anything, except for the permit.... Home Away from Home: The Value of Third Spaces |
