Definitely too staged looking. Most entries are from people who truly love their homes, and the spaces typically reflect a bit of the owners' soul. This just feels commercial. Tony's Custom Concept Small Cool Contest |

Wonderful! Very inspiring, warm family home. Great job on making an inviting and usable space from what used to be a creepy basement. Thanks for sharing. Lucy & Thomas Say Goodbye to their Artful Family Home House Tour |

I agree with some pop of color that feels right to you--a variation on your blue, or even a nice rich red. Our house is fairly neutral, but we have a red, a purple, and a teal painted wooden chairs that migrate to different rooms and give some surprise and interest. What Color to Paint Desk? Danica--Wow! Thanks for the link. We have nice 50 year old oak floors in part of our bedroom, but where previous owners added on, the floor is 25 year old carpet over wavy plywood. We've been stuck trying to figure out a nice looking, cost effective, non-carpet option. This looks promising. Get This Look with Painted Plywood Floors? Good Questions |
