Had budget not been a huge factor, we could have purchased a tulip style table, with a base in the center. But, this table was gifted and we are grateful for it! Plus, painting is always done outside, so not worried about spills ;o)

The wall shelves are from pottery barn, they were our biggest splurge but I did manage to find them on sale. The plastic shell chairs were purchased at Room Service Store.

Love it!! It's funny, our family room is turning out very similarly. Same color sofa/pillows/paint and we have been on the hunt for a great paper for an accent wall too. Where can that wallpaper be purchased and what does it run?

our kids are 2 years apart. At 29 months my daughter still happily sleeps in a crib. We ended up purchasing an inexpensive Jenny Lind from Babies r us for around $120. Last thing I wanted to deal with was a toddler and newborn up at all hours of the night!

It's a futon from Ikea... It was purchased a few years ago but I believe it is similar to this one, http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S59874472 she now has a bed skirt on it to hide storage under neath

They are paper lanterns from Ikea!! She is an amazing Grandmother, and we are so lucky to live only a mile away!
