I have great neighbours, and we all share no problem. Awesome to cut down on expenses.

Even 'natural' pesticide are not typically safe for pets and people. Hence the keep away from children labels. I've found the best thing to do if you want a weed-free lawn is to use a grass seed which is allelopathic (prevents other plants from growing). There are a few of these grass varieties out there, the best one I know of in Canada is eco-lawn from wildflower farm. It also means you need to water/mow your lawn less, all pluses in my book. http://www.wildflowerfarm.com/index.php?p=catalog&parent=4&pg=1

Watching this video made me so claustrophobic. I'm impressed that she can do it. I couldn't even walk in her apartment without panicking, let alone sleep in that bed.

I've had only amazing experiences dealing with the sellers. That is really unfortunate.
I've had sellers send me back money after realizing shipping was less than expected! This would never happen with a big company.

Can you freeze ceremic bowls? I would think yes, but I don't want to try and then have them crack.
Any other ideas for what to use when freezing left-overs other than plastic?

My great aunt had a photo of herself and her husband printed on a couch. It was the most awkward thing to sit on. You would be sitting on them while talking to them. Maybe eye catching, but terrible for conversation because everyone was always so uncomfortable about it.
Colbert might be different because he's not in the room... but still not great. Better as art than to actually sit on.

Be careful with this method as some plants can experience root rot from too much water. I would recommend misting your plants for added humidity instead of keeping their roots wet. Many species actually like to dry out partially or completely prior to their next watering.

This year I bought a really gorgeous pie plate from etsy (JClayPottery) and I'm baking my brother a meat pie in it. Along with a book filled with his favourite pie recipes of mine.

My Nana's favourite gift from me ever was when I made her single serving size chicken pot pies (without salt). She just popped one out of the freezer and thought of family all year.

This year I am making her sugar and salt free granola. People with special eating requirements really love food presents because it can be so hard to buy pre-made anything. I know, I am one of them :)

Oh - and one year (when I was 8... long long time ago) I gave my teacher a 6-pack of really nice beer and home made bits and bites. He laughed so hard and told me it was the best present ever! No teacher really wants another "best teacher" mug.
