This is so clever. What I want to know is, where did you find that perfect little jar for the pins? So cute!

There's a bit too much going on here for my tastes, though it is definitely eye-catching and interesting. My question is: What's the scoop on those funky doorknobs?

I'm with the others. It looks cute, but it's a waste machine. Reusable plastic containers and cloth napkins all the way!

I live by this creed, even though people have laughed at me for it. If you don't have a logical place for something, don't buy it. Or, if you do, but something is already there, decide where the older item should go (hint: Salvation Army).

I live in a neighborhood that is very much like a small town. That said, I know my neighbors in my apartment building because two of them went to college with my husband and the other two are our landlords. I don't know the people in the building next door, but I could knock on many, many doors within three-block radius of our building and know the people who will answer.

We did the same as kerry81480 and put two Grundtal shelves in our kitchen. One is over the stove to hold our recipe book holder, a couple cutting boards, and oven mitts and to hang measuring cups/spoons, and our big pizza slicer. The second holds all our pots and pans and their lids, and it hangs over a tin-topped table that holds our knife block and toaster oven.

In addition, we bought a two-tiered Lazy Susan, which we use to store our spices.

I love the third photo, too. It does look like a tea towel, or maybe a linen hand towel laid flat across the rod? Clever.

I don't know what bugs me more about #3: the wallpaper itself or the fact that the toilet isn't centered.
