The seller or agent probably won't tell you about these types of interpersonal problems, so any advice on how to get to know the neighbors BEFORE you buy the place?

Should I just walk up and down the street until I see someone to talk to and ask them about the house/condo?

@residentgeek

I felt exactly the same way about all the issues (outside time, immunity, socializing)... Now I have a 4-month old and boy was I wrong!

I love that C-shaped table in the entry area (1st pic in gallery). What's the source?

The Danish seem to love the Christiania Bikes. They appear to be quite the status symbol. Very popular (also very pricey) among the young parents in Copenhagen.

Almost every day- email (work and personal), reading pdf documents, reading textbooks, online shopping, facebook, netflix, videos, other misc. Planning to bring it on vaca as a laptop alternative too. It does indeed fill the gap between my laptop and iphone.

I find it strange that you can see the turquoise shades casting a shadow on the coffee table, but no where else in the room. Those curtains would surely cast some blue tint into the room.

@LauraInCancun - good call on the tv reflection. you're so right.

@patmac (and others) Agreed, WD-40 is not something I would use in my home as a cleaning product. It's not really something that you should rub onto the appliances you touch every day...especially those that you touch just before handling food. Please don't advocate adding more harmful chemicals to our homes. Keep the WD-40 were it belongs, in the garage/basement/shed.

Full-Size Canopy Bed - $249 (Cambridge).

Beware, I almost bought this very same bed a few weeks ago on overstock.com. So I instantly recognized it, selling on overstock for $179 with only $1 for shipping

NEVER VACUUM Broken CFL !!

Eek, under no circumstances should you advise the use of a vacuum!! The vacuum warms the mercury and puts it in the air so you and the family can breathe it in. No, it won't kill you, but it may cause effects on your nervous system, especially in children.

ps. I work in environmental health
