Great makeover. The "fab" in the title had me imagining one of those ghastly redo's with tacky patterned wallpaper or screaming pastels, but this one is understated yet thoroughly refreshing.

Also, I am RELIEVED I am not the only one to immediately think "Nipple rings!" Keep them, though. They add character.

I still see the dominance of white so it's not exactly my idea for a Room For Color favorite, but I voted for it anyway because this is gorgeous.

It's beautiful and elegant, but all that gray got to me eventually. I think insisting on a gray rug and even black-and-white artwork even in the children's room/playroom is going a bit too much. I see very little of the kind of fun and warmth one would normally expect from a house with children. Also, I don't see eclectic.

Gorgeous. It looks like a resort villa, and probably feels like one too by the pool.

Striking wall and colors, but they kind of make the floor and the island look out of place and the space half-finished. I'd upgrade them, too.

This is probably not a comment relevant to the contest, but seeing her choices of furniture, rugs, fabric, and how she uses that steel ladder to hang her shoes and jewelry...this house has got plenty of character, and I would love to see a full house tour.

I swear to God, if I see another MCM extravaganza here on AT...

In other news, I love the Jean Luc Godard poster in the bedroom. Source?

Gorgeous. Appeals to both sexes (well, maybe not the makeup brushes...). I have a dream of one day owning the Gehry Wiggle chair. Maybe when I win the lottery.

390 sqf and a dining table for six. I'm very impressed. (A couple of shots of the kitchen island would have been enough, though.)

I wouldn't call this cluttered. There is a place for everything and everything is in its place. There've been a lot of other house tours with more stuff here on AT. The only difference is the checkerboard floor makes this apartment look busier than it is. Put a neutral rug under the living room furniture and they would stand out. However, that shade of green as someone mentioned...my least favorite color.

Beautiful living space (that area with the wooden bench, which I love, and coffee table). It looks almost like an exhibit.

I personally think gray is a great background to play around with. Don't get any more whites and blacks unless you want a monochromatic effect. Try instead for bold, bright colors be they in your other furniture, fabrics, or decor. If you really want to cover it up as much as possible, hang a lot of framed art or colorful canvases. Gray is a popular color here at AT and if you browse past house tours you'll find plenty of inspiration.
