Ahh, Cablevision. Funny how small details remind you of your home state. I'd know that receiver anywhere.

Tech makers: I wish all these hardware makers would get together and agree on a universal charging connector. mini USB, micro USB, and whatever Apple uses, just creates unneeded junk. I have a bunch of chargers I can no longer use. And I have to send extra $$ to buy extra chargers for different areas of my life (Home, Work, etc.) Also, who's the genius who came up with the micro USB? So aggravatingly flimsy! I've gone trough 7 micro USB chargers in the last 2 months.

Websites: Improved commenting environments (I'm looking at you Apartment Therapy/Unplggd). More choice is always a good thing. While some people like a closed-off web experience, some don't. Giving web users the option to have their comments shared with the rest of the internet community is good for reader retention and brand exposure.

There's tons more to nitpick about commenting systems, but I'll leave at that.

Individuals: People who own HDTVs, subscribe to HD cable programing but continue to watch TV in standard definition. It's really none of business use it's your TV, your cable bill, but for the love of God can you at least make an effort to seem like you vaguely understand basic technology when you have company over!

Sorry but kids/toddlers love band-aid. They fake injury just to get a new one. Not sure, but I think and outlet cover designed to look like a band-aid will draw them to it and encourage them to fiddle with it.

Can someone explain the fascination with instagram to me? The filters are cool I guess, but I can't figure out this app's reason for being so popular... especially since you have to sign up to their network to even use it.

I love the screen size on this phone. My first android, meh. I'd like to meet the person who designed the hardware. So I can backhand him across the face. The button placements make no sense, hold the phone wrong and it powers off.

There's a volume control built into the software, but accidentally touch the hardware volume button and it changes the setting in the software, making the volume controls in the Settings app completely obsolete.

This is extremely annoying when you think your phone is on vibrate but rings at the highest level to your surprise. Or you never hear it ring because the volume for the ring was turned all the way down because you turned the volume on the music player down. Sucks. I have 2 more weeks left the return it. Love the screen size and resolution but the hardware needs serious work.

Note to Samsung: include a physical volume/vibrate toggle in the next Note. Also, tighten up the existing buttons so they're not so easily/accidentally pressed. Last, move the power button.

If apple would increase their screen size they'd win me back. iphone+jailbreak=prefect phone

P.S.: I'm not a fan boy of any manufacturer. I just like what works for me.

It's a tough choice. I tested both phones at the att sore the other day. I love the size of the Note, the sharpness of the screen, the graphics, the speed. But again, I do not like Android. I lead a fairly busy life and don't have the time to tinker that Android seems to requires. Not to mention that I absolutely do not trust Google as a company in regards to safeguarding my personal information and not intruding on my privacy.

The Lumia is a sexy phone that goes perfectly with Windows Phone's sexy software (I wish the screen was sharper and bigger). Guess I'll just toss a coin.

Nice. I have no logos to do this myself, but real nice. Also, I don't have the Lumia. I'm in the market for a phone and it's a toss up between the Lumia and the Note. Con for the Note: I don't like Android, Pro: Screen size, resolution and all around functionality.

Con for Lumia: Screen resolution, size; no flash. Pro: I love the interface and the overall OS, it's only $99 (free after rebate).

Or... You can buy a silicone keyboard skin on eBay for $2. Bought one 2 months ago and it works really well.

Dirty doesn't accumilate as quickly, no more crumbs in between the keys. And if it gets real dirty, just take of off, wipe it down (with sanitizer or soap and water) and you're done!
