That bowl would be amazing to have! My son is learning to eat from a bowl and the majority of his food winds up in his lap/on the floor!

They just couldn't leave well enough alone. I actually laughed when I saw this in the catalog.

This reminds me of a magazine spread I saw a few years ago about a hotel somewhere in Europe where one of the rooms was inspired by National Geographic yellow. They built a platform bed out of wood and old National Geographics. I think about that spread all the time! I wish so much I had clipped that out. Still kicking myself that I didn't.

Amen. He puts so succinctly a sort of underlying feeling I've had about my obsession with my home lately. I keep wondering why I spend so much time, energy & money on it, and yet am never satisfied.

Can't we all just sit back and enjoy the eye candy? Its a fact of life - some people have more money than others. Sheesh. This house is gorgeous, and that can't be disputed.

I took the Living subscription. I loved Blueprint and I'm sad its gone but I like Living too. Granted, it doesn't really fit my lifestyle (definitely skews OLD) but the photos are pretty and I use them to make envelopes/cards/collages with.

Conceptually I think it is a great idea. Maybe the colors are a bit bold for my taste? Not sure. I would probably advise someone doing this to wash the walls/closet doors before painting. The smudgy, dirty background gives the OCD in me heart palpitations.

I really wanted to get these for my mom, who loves this kind of thing and who would actually USE these. But, I couldn't afford them. I do love them though.

What the EFF! I just ordered subscriptions for myself and about 5 friends and family! How are they going to handle that?
