I thought the use of the flag is safe enough not to arise "communism"=== out of sight --out of mind"---reminds us of what we are --priviledged to be Americans, doesnt have to be on a flag pole. He wasnt wearing it as underwear or draped on a toilet.

Please keep in mind, a monitor-- still has electric charge. Google the info on how to remove that electrical current---kust saying that should also caution someone in letting their 5 year old(as I notice the photo accompanying the article) is. Its not that easy to just take apart an old tv monitor or computer. There are also plenty of sharp objects, unfinished circuit boards which handle carelessly can even cut the unexperienced just trying to rip it off the board.
