Sicily in Summer, we go out in a boat and collect them off of the sea floor ( very carefully!!) We cut them open in the boat with a a scissor and scoop out the roe with the back of our thumbnail...mmm...yes, of course you can have "pasta con ricci" at the restaurant too... I actually FOUND an original one of these tables (white) in the GARBAGE AREA of my building. It had belonged to a smoker because it was laden with yellow and black residue. I scraped down the cast iron bottoms and the underside of the tops. Then gave the bottoms a few coats of high gloss. Not bad for a TRASH FIND. Tips for making jury duty more pleasant...bring a small thin pillow to sit on in case you're stuck on a hard bench; snacks and lunch help since you'll have to pay big bucks on the outside; lots of magazines, newspapers, ipod, knitting, journal, etc... What i think sucks right now is that Traemand wants $55 to give me "customized (the job site printed on them) insurance papers" for my coop. On top of assembling/installation fees ( $120 per wall cabinet/$150 per base cabinet) they have the balls to tack on $55 to fill out forms correctly. Fucking scam. But its a shame I already went into "contract" with them before I read this. I assume they must have some decent installers since I've heard as much.
