This reminds me so much of the kitchen we are rehabing. Ours is more of a mid century cabin, so its more rustic. If you kitchen is constructed like ours, the knotty pine is also in the back of the cabinets. One idea people have suggested is to paint the cabinetry white, while leaving the knotty pine in the back exposed by glass cabinet doors. How Would You Modernize Betty Draper's 60s Kitchen? It was too hot to go outside yesterday afternoon, so I filled my two battered cookie sheets with shaving cream for my children. We made snow people and ran the zamboni.
