I've used left over lentil stew to make little savory hand pies or appetizer bites with either pizza dough or pie dough. Either cook down or strain out most of the liquid before filling. You could make lentils specifically for them as well. Makes a great meal with a salad or soup!

I learned this from my mom, who learned it from hers. I love eggs this way!
