I'm making moss terrariums for my Woodlands themed wedding in Sept. I got the largest apothecary jars I could find (nice ones from www.save-on-crafts.com) and bought a bunch of diff kind of moss (www.teresasplants.com OMG she was so helpful). I'm putting teeny tiny rubber animals, clay mushrooms or found funky rocks in them to make each a lil diff. The biggest expense was the jar, but I think my centerpieces will be gorgeous and whimsical :) 25 Terrariums To Try, Buy & DIY |

I dont live in Philly but I know a lot about budget shopping. I would purchase the couches new and look for sturdiness and quality. For that, stay away from IKEA. If you are going to sit on it, dont buy it from there! Furniture is an investment...especially couches. I too had a 3k budget for DR and LR and went to Ashleys and Im sorry I did. The quality is better than IKEA but it wont last. I bought our rustic but modern 6ft table and chairs from World Market for under $900 (with 25% coupon). 4 chairs and a bench that can fit 2-3 ppl...EXCELLENT quality. Craigslist has GREAT finds especially in big cities...but the good stuff goes fast!! GOOD LUCK :) Where To Furniture Shop In Philadelphia? Good Questions |

The beautiful old cape that I grew up in, in Staten Island, burned down about 10 years ago. It was on an unusually large lot so when the house was demolished they built 2 duplexes on the land :( It breaks my heart when I visit friends on the block. Because of this, I try not to go back.
