Definitely one of my favourites! So inspiring...but feels out of reach for me. I will have to be content with my modest two-story in a mid-sized Canadian town. ;) I will come back to this one to keep the creative juices flowing!

Amazing! So wonderful to see a home that is both child-friendly and beautifully decorated. Very lovingly crafted and well put together with the whole family in mind, I love it.

There is nothing like seeing a home that is a reflection of the personality of those who live there...it is enlivening and inspiring. I don't believe it would be possible to achieve this in a short period of time; part of the reason it feels so warm and rich is because all those pieces have meaning, they are not just items picked up at last weekend's flea market, they hold memories and bring that with them into the house.

It is a sweet home, nicely edited for the small space. I understand the concern of textiles with a large dog, it is the same with cats / children / etc...one has to be careful what they leave laying around!

While I can see that some may not like the particular choice of artwork, I think it is a nice way to add personal character to the MCM esthetic without adding clutter.

Wonderful! I love the attention to details, seeing the transformation.

I can't imagine that people would see this renovation as 'dishonest'; coming from a part of the world where heritage homes are regularly demolished for the sake of putting up cookie cutter boxes with beige siding, I find this to be an extremely beautiful testament to preserving the history of the building while still recognizing 21st century living.

I love the stools in the kitchen, where are those from?

Beautiful! I can see why the fireplace is place where it is...it affords a view from the dining room; originally that would have also allowed heat to move more readily throughout the home. Looks wonderful, I love the mix of furniture, something I am trying to do with my home!
