Doesn't hurt that she's kind of cute too. Haha. Seriously though, I think it could be like a kind of value added feature. Gives more humanity to the whole process, make you stop and think for a moment that there's someone, and a whole bunch of people actually, who were working so that you could buy whatever gadget you're buying. Too easy to forget about everything behind the store front sometimes. Apartment Therapy Unplugged | The People Behind Your iPhone |

By far the Gosling's and Barritt's is the only real way to make a Dark and Stormy. You can sub in other rums or ginger beers if you have to, but if you can avoid it then it's better. Better to sub the ginger beer rather than the Gosling's though, as it's a rather unique rum I think. This is one of my favorite cocktails, great for by the water during the evening. My great grandmother's springerly cookies. It took my mom years to trying to make them from the one handwritten copy of the recipe before finally getting them right. Turns out my great grandmother liked to purposefully leave out or add an extra ingredient when she wrote them out, just so no one else could make them as good as her! Ate out. Had a tasty Tofu Rueben sandwich at the local vegetarian place (not a veggie, just taking it easy this week after having short ribs, beef stir fry, and a ribeye all this weekend. Time to give the heart a break) here in Athens, GA. Apartment Therapy The Kitchen | What Are You Eating for Lunch? |

Gonna make the chocolate pie from the recent issue of Food & Wine tomorrow, can't wait. Would try the souffle, but don't have any ramekins, and don't feel like going out to buy those also. Apartment Therapy The Kitchen | Thursday Giveaway: ChocolateChocolate and Scharffen Berger Baking Goodies |

Has to be cookies. Made like 20 pounds of them over the holidays with my mother and it would have taken sooo much longer without the Kitchenaid. Maybe even faster with this mixer. Heh. Apartment Therapy The Kitchen | Thursday Giveaway: SideSwipe Spatula Mixer Blades |

"Meat of the Matter" .... As if buying pancetta to make my amatriciana wasn't expensive enough... now I'm feeling the urge to find some of this guanciale and try it, but at $13/lb with inconsistent availability online it seems like I might have to wait a while. The chocolate bread pudding one just sounds delicious. Haven't got a specific favorite though as I tend to just look to recipes for ideas and then play with what I have available in my kitchen. Apartment Therapy The Kitchen | Thursday Giveaway: Tastebooks from Epicurious |

Weee! They'd be fun to cook with. I'd probably make a simple lasagna in the casserole first, there is just something so satisfying about lasagna. Apartment Therapy The Kitchen | Holiday Gift Bag 2007: Win a Le Creuset 6-Piece Set in Caribbean |
