Almost everything in my parents' home was brown, beige, or tan. To this day (I'm 62) I don't have any of those colors in my home or my wardrobe. Earth tones just look sort of depressing to me. While I understand what you're saying about buying two of things that you use in different parts of the kitchen, I can't help but think that if your kitchen is so large that walking across it to get the cinnamon is a hardship, your kitchen is just too big. 9 Steps To Arranging A Well-Organized Kitchen |

The first thing I'd do if you need to keep the desk in this room is move the desk to the other side of the TV area. That would separate the "office" a bit more. How To Arrange Furniture In Smaller Living Room? Good Questions |

I'm a 61-year-old woman who has always had a bathtub and has not used it (other than the shower function) since the kids were toddlers. They're pushing 40 now. I'd much rather have storage space in my tiny 1950s bathroom. Does Shower, No Tub, Hurt Resale Value? Good Questions |
