My 2 year old loves it. in another 6-9 months I think she'll be ready to (safely) climb in and out herself. We started her in the chair at 6 months and so long as the baby can sit well, I think the baby set, cushion etc are not needed...jest extra stuff to clean. And really, the ease of cleaning is one the best bonus feature of this chair. We also love the "Play Tray" addition...because she really does like to play with kitchen items in her chair while we cook or work in the kitchen (as opposed to using the chair for eating at the dining room table).
