I guess they need a nap during work! I have the pleasure of living next door to my office and you can regularly find me taking a 20min cat nap at lunchtime and then going back to work. Why? cos I CAN! Life Desk by Athanasia Leivaditou Final Frame |

I have a nice letter opener that looks like a minature sword, it was used to serve kebabs in a themed Medieval restaurant in Austria and just happened to not make it back into the kitchen.... Classic Desk Accessories: Letter Openers |

@redlinevintage I have to agree 100%. I wanted one of these forever and when I eventually sat in an original I was so disappointed. I then ended up with an original Eames Lounger in pieces which I restored and lovingly looking at whilst I type this...... Modern Classics: The Barcelona Chair |

@pedleyfig, yes I grew up on the Marsh from 5 and my family still live there. Jarman's cottage and his garden of found items and sculpture is something I have loved for years and is part of my reason for collecting stuff to use..... I adore the writing on the side of the whole house. Shame there are not more pictures of it on here. If someone at AT drops me a line I am pretty sure I have a bunch of nice photos from last year. using nails you run the risk of them bending and therefore failing to acheive its purpose or even worse covering half your apartment in the paint and also of the head damaging whatever you put it onto (in the case in question it looks like a dining table). Far better to buy some cheap plastic painters pyramids as mentioned by aaakid Painting Tip: Use Nails in Furniture Feet |

buildings clad in copper seriously affect signals as well.....the old firm I worked for had a building in Armonk clad in copper. Whilst it had a beautiful patina the mobile service was non-existent. How Your Home's Insulation Affects Your Wireless Signal |

@Miami's Elaine....the simplest way is to think of particle like we do in Europe where it is called chipboard, ie made of little chips and bits. OSB or orientated strand board is made of strands of wood, but your logic also works ;-) Alan's Colorful, Daring & Dramatic East Austin Home House Tour |

@christinesass I get all the offcuts from my friends when they have their kitchens redone and usually make them a bespoke board in return. You know like your dad and your grandad and great grandad did....that is reusing something.....(off soapbox now). p.s I actually like the shade but be ace with some drips.
