I just got the Gordon sofa in black from Home Decorators Collection and it arrived yesterday. I don't know if I'm just spoiled but I was kinda disappointed in the leather. It has a surface texture that reflects too much light, almost making it look brown, and the leather is not soft at all. It is comfortable to sit on but I kept asking my friends, 'do you think this is vinyl?' The website says 'recycled leather'.... Ill learn to like it but I wish I'd saved up for a soft buttery version from Restoration Hardware. Ps the dimensions online imply the measurements of the couch, but that must've been the box. The couch yurned out to be 87" long instead of the listed 91"...

I rent a tiny studio so I had to take the plunge and hang my tv on the wall. I can patch the holes when I move out and maybe I won't even lose my deposit. Even if I did it'd be well worth these years of not having to look at a big piece of excess furniture. Also, visitors still seem really impressed with a wall mounted tv. I even found a wall mounted DVD player and people are like, ooooh neat! Haha
