I would hang fabric over that wall. You could use liquid starch and apply the fabric just like wallpaper. It *should* come off with no problem when you move. Whichever way you choose to hang it, I think fabric is your best option. Hide Odd Paint Job Without Repainting? Good Questions |

I think an important thing to consider is how easy a new sofa is to clean. I've got two wild kids, and its the main thing Im looking at. I'm pretty much settled on an IKEA sofa, just because I can take the whole thing apart and wash it. The 5 Things You Really Should Be Considering When Sofa Shopping |

It's a beautiful room. I eventually plan on painting my youngest daughters room gray. But it can't just be me who looks at these beautiful nurseries and laughs...either one of my kids would have destroyed that in a week. Still, its nice to look at other peoples pretty rooms! We bought a mid-range sofa before our eldest (now 5) was born. Its microfiber--and I have washed the cushions in the machine--and it's not held up real well. We are hopefully getting a new sofa this winter...from Ikea. If its washable, then its in. With our youngest turning 2 soon, I'm looking forward to having a coffee table again! I have two daughters, aged 5 and 2. The older one is TOTALLY and completely into all things princess and pink. (She certainly didnt get it from me.) And while I don't buy her all the licensed princess stuff, everyone else does. She may grow out of this one day, or she may not. It's not really a big deal when all is said and done. If it makes her happy, it makes me happy. Girlie-Girl Culture At Home |

A certain orange home improvement store has them. You can sometimes find them at goodwill also. I would love to put these up for soft toys...but I'd have to paint them a wild color first. Wire Wall Planters Used as Toy Storage |

I took all the cushion covers off mine and threw them in the washer on delicate setting. It worked like a charm! My couch had seen the wrath of a toddler (plus messy adults) and I was thinking it was done for. The washer made it look (and smell) like new. But I might try this for the arms! My husband built me a bench (from Ana-White!) for my birthday. We have four chairs that we purchased when we got our dining table years ago, but the store we got them from is no longer in business. So we found a really simple bench plan, and he built it. It's been great for kids and grownups alike. I'm almost glad we cant get more chairs anymore! I generally wait until my husband gets home from work. That way, I get some nice quiet time all to myself (I have a 4 year old and an 18 month old. It's LOUD in my house these days). Other times, I try to take a shower while the younger one naps. The older one is pretty good about staying in her room and playing while I shower. But if I *must* bathe, and it's not naptime, I just stick the younger one in her crib for 20 minutes. The older one will go in her room to play and keep her from freaking out. If not...20 minutes isnt going to kill her. How's a New Mom Supposed to Get a Shower? |

I have 3, and it was enough for the past 18 months...until my poor baby got a stomach bug. We went through all the sheets in one night! But I think with an infant, if you use lap pad or something akin to them, you can get away with just a few. I have seen the kind that have ties on them so that you can tie them to the bed. Wish I would have had those the other night... Readers Survey: How Many Crib Sheets Do You Have |

I was super excited about this collection, but I got stuck at home with sick kids the week it came out. By the time we got a chance to go to Target, it was pretty picked over. My sweet husband did manage to sneak off and grab me a serving platter. Its really heavy duty. If anyone was thinking of buying these...totally worth it.
