We have another kind of pâté au saumon : canned salmon and mashed potatoes in pie crusts. Serve hot with ketchup or béchamel with egg slices in it.

We have an over-the-door shoe organizer, too, to place all the outfits for the week.
In the closet, we mostly store out-of-size or seasonal clothing, coats, shirts for our boy and dresses for our girl.
We have 2 Hemnes 3-drawer dressers, one that's also our change table, with boxes inside to separate clothing type. In the changing table one, the top drawer holds diapers, creams, etc.
Since they share a tiny 72 sq.ft. room, their dressers are in the living room, which works out great to put back folded laundry when they're sleeping. As the kids are getting older (4 & 2), I wish I had a laundry room with space to place a laundry basket dresser such as this one: http://beingbrook.com/ana-white-brook-laundry-basket-dresser-building/ where I could just leave the folded laundry...

I have been serving our son Green Eggs and Ham for awhile now... it's the only way I can get him to eat eggs, other than part of a recipe. I make mini crustless 'quiches' in muffin tins with cheese, milk and spinach (hence the 'green'), and I serve with ham slices. It is often requested.

I agree with Melissa82. That table is really nice. My problem with offices like that, and especially the Google one, where you're allowed to bring your dog, able to do your laundry, where basically they make it feel like your better home away from home, is that they expect you to not want to leave and go back to your home... where you would not be thinking about work, about how to better the product/service and where your creative juices would go to something else than the company...

I have been using baby food to sneak veggies in my regular recipes for a while... And not just for my kids sake, but for my own. I can never get as smooth a puree when I make them from scratch, and the convenience can't be beat!

Salmon pie! Make a batch of mashed potatoes, mix in the salmon, throw in spices and what-have-yous (diced carrots, peas, a bit of cheddar -- whatever you have leftover) and use aspie filling. Cheap & all encompassing meal. My kids eat it with ketchup, and my dad eats it the traditional way: with béchamel sauce to which we add chopped hardboiled eggs.

Last year, I let our then a-bit-less-than-three-year old pick out his room color out of 5 or 6 bigger sized swatches (Martha Stewart's). i asked him once or twice a week for about a month. 90% of the time, he pointed to the same one (a school-bus yellow), so that's the color on one wall and the ceiling of his bedroom, with the rest of the walls being beige. He's still super happy with it all, and so are we!
