My favorite food truck makes watermelon-jalapeno lemonade. It's pretty good, but a shock to the palette if you were expecting regular lemonade ;)

Our lab-pitbull mix slept in his crate until he was about 7 or 8 months old and I could trust him not to get into stuff while we were sleeping, now he has a big comfy dog bed in the corner. He falls asleep there every night but then slyly sneaks up at some point and sleeps across our feet. It was fine when he was a puppy but now that he's a 65 pound beefcake he gets kicked off when it's too warm or when he's being a hog. The cats only get up there when he's not, but they're tiny by comparision. The cats go where they please (except counters and dining room table) but the bed is the only piece of furniture the dog is allowed on.

I use three burners with some regularity. And the fourth burner is often holding something that I had to "remove from heat". A normal dinner uses two burners and since I live in an apartment with about 3 square feet of counter space, the other two burners are often turned into prep or staging areas. If I didn't have a full stove/oven, I would be crippled. I'm a messy cooker and my boyfriend often jokes that I must challenge myself to use every inch of counterspace and every dish we have.
@elfjeansonne - my biggest pet peeve about apartment living is that the kitchens are so tiny and poorly organized. Just because I can't afford to buy a house, doesn't mean I don't utilize the kitchen to it's fullest extent. Our fridge/pantry/cabinets are full and I cook 8-9 whole meals a week, I would sell my soul for a bigger workspace. Every apartment building should offer a floorplan that has a spacious and effective kitchen and you have to prove you'll use it to live there. Those are the rules I just made up.

My 80 year old grandma asked for an eReader for Christmas last year. After trying out other family member's Kindles, iPads and Nooks, she also narrowed down her request to the iPad. She prefered the big color touchscreen and the intuative interface. She LOVES it. She can check her email, show off pictures of the grandkids, google for recipes, play solitare AND read books. My grandma is the coolest.

I've been doing this for about two years. I mail cupcakes to far-away-friends for their birthdays. And we're giving cupcakes-in-a-jar away as favors for the bridal shower we're throwing this weekend. I tend to choose glazes and icings rather than poofy frosting, because it will better withstand the mail. Love them.

I add them into my cinnamon roll filling. Butter, cinnamon, brown sugar, cinnamon chips, walnutsor pecans and toffee pieces. I'm not claiming they're close to healthy, but they're so so good!
