I hate to go off-topic with the first post- but I like that bedroom furniture. Anyone have a lead?

I was able to eventually figure that out.

So you are not jerks! Especially freneticfloetry.

They sold out of Chicago while it was in my cart! You jerks.

In that case, a little capitalization probably wouldn't kill you.

Of these, I really like the top one. At this point, I would stick with larger areas or planks instead of traditional paneling like in pic #2. Although you may run the risk of feeling like you live in Dr. Melfi's office.

If I may- when you do these things, it would be nice to have some kind of idea as to which name goes with which image in the above layout. A number key, or something. Otherwise you kind of have to click on a bunch of links to discern what's what, especially when, as above, there aren't really clear horizontal or vertical rows.

Apologies, I am an information design geek. I'll be shutting up now.

Our Urban Lotus Collapsible Massage Table is well-suited to rooms where relaxing and entertaining demand equal time. This piece features sleek clear-laquered hardwood rails and feet and a corded welt finish along each seam. Let your onsite masseuse tend to your knots without missing the party. Repositionable conversation mirror is a tempting add-on.

Made in the USA.

Gosh, those are pretty. Thanks! I think I may have figured out my kitchen too. And a long order wait is not a huge deal, if I order them now they will get to me right before I am ready to think about beginning the project.

This is very nice, and just rough enough. I think that a perfectly geometric version of this wouldn't look nearly as good. In the right type of place this is a beautiful addition (ie mine).

I know nothing about metal tiles. Did you have trouble cutting/resizing them? You say at one point "metal" but then "metallic". Are they solid metal or just metal-plated or something?

I have a rule about hooks- they can't cost more than anything I'm likely to be hanging on them.

I have a similar challenge and I am looking at smaller sectional pieces.

I might take the long couch and place it with its left arm on the window on the left side of the floorplan, and maybe put a narrow table behind it, creating kind of a front hallway. Then you have access to your closet and there is room for a sleeker mini-sectional piece and some lighting in the corner where the big couch is now.

Also, in such a fluid space I'd probably eschew coffee tables in favor of multiple small ottomans that can be scooted around and used for extra seating.

What is that floorplan developed in? Or did you draw it? It's purty.

This is pretty darn cool looking, but you'd probably have to do it at the same time as the wall treatment in most places. That looks way too small to hide an existing switch box or switch box-sized hole. Is there a difference in European switch boxes vs. the standard American rectangle?

If you look closely- that was a repost of a post from 11/16/07, which is THE FUTURE!

I applaud this effort to repost posts which have not yet been posted.

If there was a choice for "Odd" I would select that.

It's very Tim Burton. I would probably kill myself on it, but all the same, I like it.

You may have to stretch it a tad, but World Market has some slipper-style chairs in the $200-250 range, if I recall correctly. I was thinking of picking one up for the bedroom. I can't seem to find them on the website, though.

I am a SWM, DDF, NK, with a bit of a thing for abbreviations (TFA), ISO an appliance to make my life complete.

Sure, I have a TV, and a DVD, and I think I have a VCR under a pile of PJ's somewhere. Sure, my HVAC cranks out BTUs PDQ. I have a few AC/DC CDs and maybe an OU812 LP in the closet by the WC. But the old HHI has been DOA and probably will be 'till EOY. 10-4?

So I need this LCD HDTV. ASAP.

I agree with needing more frequent pickups. In fact I'd be better supported by one black cart and two blues. The mass of our trash is largely paper, PET, and cardboard.

However, this is getting people like me to recycle (I never used the blue bag method), and it must be a resource-intensive process on the receiving end, so I am willing to be patient. I devote my efforts in the meantime to packing as much as possible tetris-style into the blue bin.
