I live in under 400 sq and have monthly cleaning service in nyc. I don't notice dust in between visits but then again, it's just me in the tiny space. I can barely load the dishwasher so I'm very impressed by those who dust 3x a week!

@ krisse, have you looked at the new york small spaces? not only do those small spaces cost more than the big honkers out west or somewhere else, the furniture in them is usually designer...

this is lovely and i envy all the storage! i second the question about where your sofa is from, its so classic.

i think yours may be my actual favourite entry, in that i totally want to live here. it looks much bigger than it, and i love all the seating without the space looking cramped or cluttered. very stylish furniture, and love the sofa especially!

While I appreciate a comfy couch, I could never sacrifice style. I don't like sloppy, oversized couches and ended up returning my Macy's Chloe because it dwarfed my studio. I now have Restoration Hardware's Double Professor's Chair that functions perfectly for gaming and movie watching.

i find daily laundry incredibly wasteful and don't know a single person who does that. even my parents with a small child don't do daily laundry. how does one even accumulate that much laundry that it fits into a huge modern washer in one day? i do laundry every week or two. i find it amazing that commenters wanted to bite off the heads of someone who takes out daily trash just so their house doesn't smell and is so much more forgiving of those who waste energy and water needlessly.
