I have a similar wire book stand that I got when I worked at a large bookstore chain that no longer exists. I keep all of our most-used cookbooks in it and it resides in the kitchen.

Check with your local bookstores, especially those that have usually have book promotions with special merchandising. A lot of times, they just throw out those stands when the promotion is over. They may be willing to give it to you if you ask.

After living for years in rental beige and whites, we decided that we would paint the rooms in our first home in anything but rental beige and white. We decided to paint the dining room a color that we like to call, "Nacho Cheese Yellow".

We love it and nearly everyone who has visited us absolutely hates it. I don't care. It makes it everything so sunny and happy. The only drawback is that after the sun sets, the overhead lights and the walls give everything a yellow tint.

We never used one with our son. We just used a plastic shopping bag to tie it up and toss. The smell never seeped thru.
