I don't know if anyone suggested this so here goes; upcycle. Look at craiglist, I am near NYC and have gotten two couches. The first one I loved, velvet and down, it was too large. Now I have a custom made loveseat that I love. Neither was expensive so not liking it after leaving with it did not bother me and I can check dog proofability My current loveseat and old crate and barrel chairs will be reupholstered rather than going through the nightmare and cost of looking for that perfect new piece. Try it, the worse part was the transportation and that was workable in the end.

I am thinking of placing a wall between two odd areas of my bedroom, forming a closet...one thing I do not want to give up is the air flow, there is a window there as well as two others in the remaining area that will be the bedroom...on to my point, curtains for the opening to the closet, makes so much sense
now! Thanks

there is so much waste in the world, hopefully we are exiting the throw away and buy new cultural attitude...I have beautiful pieces that suit me, and my personal feeling is if it is a difference in toss or reuse, I say do what you want...you own it so own it!

the easel is a canvas easel and art suppliers would sell it,although those may need some conversion to safely mount the TV... on occassion you will find one on craiglist...little over large for this space albeit creative!

My husband and I started our couple life in an attic apartment..I am 5'8" and slammed my head more times than I can count, no amount of white paint would get me back there, the actual usable space is limited limited yikes...photos look great but the reality is something else. Much as I loved our landlords they have their attic back!

this makes me laugh...I was raised by a SFC lifer and yeppers each of us were taught HOW to make a bed the RIGHT way. My husband however tends to nest...literally. Looking at our bed you can definitely tell whose side is whose. Thanks for the laugh and the link is being sent to him now.

I am with Emile on this, although if you do not sew it can be daunting. Try putting an ad in craiglist or a local paper for a seamstress, tailor etc...they can do it cheaply dependent on the material you want to use. Joann fabrics has sales throughout the year on home decorator fabric, using a canvas or denim would make this a failry inexpensive project. The clean line of this type of sofa would make it quick. Good luck
