We have crazy ants around our house that sometimes come into the house. I also thought salt might work, but to no avail. Even Raid didn't work. But oddly, what did work in the house was a cleaning solution around their trail. I use water with some hydrogen peroxide and continue to clean it a few times a day.

We moved twice while I was pregnant with my daughter and both of us were working full time. My husband and I spent many a night at Babies R Us and most of the stuff on the registry came from their crummy list of "must haves". What you actually need is very basic for quite a while. You really don't even need a crib at first. The baby might be in a co-sleeper or in your bed. You need lots of diapers, lots of burp cloths, wipes, a nasal aspirator, and some tiny little clothes (like under 8 pounds).

I agree with others, if people can give you money, that's definately the best.

I have the book. I would have liked to have seen more detail from each home, because I was trying to get ideas for clever storage for my own home.

Wow, that seems like a lot of stuff, but I carry less than all of the other moms I know.

I would be curious to know how much Melissa paid for the whole room. Getting a good deal on such a beautiful room would be such a win!
