I made a small framed silhouette into a first Christmas ornament for my son. We took a profile shot of him, which I edited to be a silhouette, then added text saying "First Christmas," his name, and the year. Then I put it in an inexpensive, small oval frame (painted red), and hung it with ribbon. Ornament to Commemorate Baby's First Christmas Good Questions |

A friend of mine had a farm-themed party for her little boy recently, and she cleverly tied the food into the theme with labels like "vegetable garden" for a plate of carrots, peppers, etc., "strawberry patch" for a bowl of berries, "hay loft" for a bowl of potato straws, and "grain bin" for rolls. It was very cute! Food Ideas for a Cowgirl/Farm Kids Party Good Questions |

Our little boy's room has similarly sloped walls and a very narrow strip of ceiling; we painted it all light grey. Originally, we left the ceiling white, but it stuck out and looked silly. Paint this Slanted Wall/Ceiling? What Color? Good Questions |

Feather Gray has a blue-y lavender tint; we used it in our office (see here - http://entrusted.wordpress.com/2009/08/17/one-year-at-137-office/). We used more neutral grays in our nursery (also with orange! no pictures yet, though): Coventry Gray and Wickham Gray. I love them. Good luck! Looking for the Perfect Gray Paint Good Questions |
