If you just moved here you should know that most nights are spare the air nights-meaning if you burn in a non epa rated wood stove or insert you will be fined.

Also if the air is really bad-you might need to get your chimney swept.

The best bet is to put in a wood burning insert or even a gas one to avoid bad air

I got the media console in acrylic for a coffee table. At first i thought it would be cheesy but i was desperate to try it since my living room is small and dark. i love it it works great and i have both traditional and modern stuff. it really is quite neutral. but it will scratch and show smears (like from my dog's nose). i don't worry about it since i have magazines in baskets underneath.

Yes most plumbing manufacturer's make them: Kohler, Grohe, Hansgrohe etc.. You can get them at any good plumbing store. In Berkeley I like to order from Ashby Lumber Plumbing Showroom. They are friendly, knowledgeable and give fair prices,

SCS68 Why diss on the El Cerrito schools...the reason they don't get better is because of people like you that move away! Way to scare people off from El Cerrito. I think the schools are getting better as parents get more involved. Unfortunately for you, your house will be under water with Global Warming. Too bad you left!
