My mom has a set of white heath dishes from the 70s that looks exactly like the white dishes in the picture. Heath is pricey, but so beautiful. I would keep the Tiffany and buy seconds or vintage sets of Heath. Maybe it's because I grew up with Heath dishes, but I really think the Tiffany would be a lot harder to reacquire. Would You Sell One Treasure to Buy Another? |

I live right across the street from this shop! While you're visiting the area, Intelligentsia (coffee), and Forage (restaurant) are both amazing. Also, on Saturday and Sunday afternoons there's a taco stand called Ricky's Fish Tacos. It's on Virgil across the street from the Vons. Best fish tacos ever! We painted our fridge with chalkboard paint and I love it. It adds just the right amount of contrast in our kitchen. I don't think I could ever paint the whole kitchen black, but black with light wood (like the 1st picture) gives the kitchen such a rustic feel. I'm a fan. Come to the Dark Side: Black Kitchens |
