Desktops never made a lot of sense to me. Its just a folder that you always have open. A lot of programs use the desktop as a default dumping spot and the clutter builds up pretty quick. Since there has been an option in windows to hide the desktop I have been using it. Could You Work With a Completely Icon-less Desktop? |

The easiest way to hide a tv is by getting rid of it and replacing it with a projector. I have a big white wall in my apartment to use as a screen. When I'm not watching anything I have some pictures hung up. Making Technology Completely Invisible at Home |

I love the brick wall in my in my apartment. It is a former exterior wall with a large vintage ad on it (50' long). It's color and character make it something that I could never live without again. I use a minimal lack shelf from ikea and an all glass desk. These materials are the perfect camouflage for an urban office with a loud brick wall. 10 Cool Brick-Walled Home Offices |
