I feel the same way, Dk - case in point, the comment above yours...in my family, stuffing is stuffing, whether baked in the bird or in a pan; dressing is something you pour on a green salad. However, to each their own & i find it frustrating that people get so ruffled over others calling a dish something different than they do. I hope everyone had a lovely holiday!

i think this is a great idea, sarah rae, & the adding glitter, etc to them as well, is super cute! i'm not sure why everyone seems so resistant to what is after all, just a fun idea or suggestion & i really think if so many are concerned about food coloring stains... don't use it?

i couldn't imagine sleeping without my partner - while he snores & i am a light sleeper (i often wake up for an hour or two in the middle of the night) i so much prefer knowing he's there next to me; i don't consider it an insecurity at all. if he slept in another room, i'd be lonely for him. i think people should do what works best for them; this works best for us.

my dog is allowed anywhere but up on the couches/bed. they are my only dog-free zones. she's a rottweiler/shepherd, & got the shepherd hair, so she sheds like crazy. cats don't bother me up on beds, etc though

does a ragu have to have tomatoes in it? i'm just curious because i *gasp* can't STAND them & dislike tomato based sauces. this sounds fantastic but if it's the tomatoes that make it a ragu, i'd have to pass...if there's something i can sub in though, i'd love to give it a whirl?

we just purchased a house that was built in 1924, & so far haven't come across anything out of the ordinary, but we didn't buy it from the original owners either. in the house i grew up in, when we tore it down to renovate, we found a wallet (empty) & horsewhip inside the walls

this is the recipe i follow, but how come sometimes mine still turns out grainy? i know it's imperative to turn the heat down to low when adding the cheese; it just feels like i haven't gotten the winning combo yet & i refuse to make it using icky velveeta - that stuff's like plastic lol
