@ Djluckyonline:

i think this is more for the owners than for the cat - very cute but the cat probably doesn't care ;0)

mdeathstar - lovely tiles! my instinct is to go with a silvery light gray. the adjectives those tiles bring to mind are: reflective, shimmery, light, sea glass. i'd carry that feeling through the rest of the room with shimmery, light colors.

very cozy - a perfect nest to relax in at the end of the day. we need more examples of real rooms in this contest. i admit, this is not my style of decorating, but there is no need for the negativity. love the vignettes - you're giving me ideas for my own photos. that's what i look for in these contests - inspiration. thank you for posting your SMALL space!

i agree, I'd like more shots of rooms as a whole. but i still voted it "cool" because i love the use of color to delineate different spaces. i am inspired and took a couple of mental notes for my condo. anyways, i could accept a picture of the view if you had really large windows and the view was a large part of your interior "landscape." but I don't see any pictures of any windows...

I am inspired - you prove that one can mix "cast-offs" into a really pleasing living arrangment. Nice job!

I love how you have made everything fit together so lovely even though you weren't inspired by your space to being with. Truly an awesome effort - my favorite so far.

You make this place look huge. But, as with a lot of the other entries, I'm wondering, where do you store everything??

Great job in such a small space! And I, for one, do not mind the clutter (cords, laptop bag, umbrella). Small amounts of clutter are a fact of life and the fact that your room can absorb it points to your decorating skill. Some rooms are impeccably decorated but one piece of clutter would wreck it - not functional at all. Nice job on your apartment!

More pictures, please!

Also, don't mention something as intriguing as a 20# cat and then no pics!
