beware of GREENWASHING! I have three of the these mattresses and they have been a good value for the money. I bought the less expensive option, which definitely needed the extra pillowtop to make it comfortable. However, I must point out the this is barely a green product. The compression shipping method is great, but the foam is almost all petroleum derived and the non-petroleum part is very small. I resent that they slap a "green-tea" label on it and call it green and try to fool the consumers. A natural latex mattress is the real green alternative, not these Chinese made imports that off-gas nasty stuff. I really resent the marketing, they are greener than Serta-Sealy but not green Review: The Keetsa Pillow Plus A Year in Bed |

I've got that WS All-Clad slow cooker, and it works well and is pretty. But get it from WS because of their replacement policy. I had to return the first one because it didn't get hot enough to cook onions, and I have read of a high failure rate And also beware that the ceramic insert breaks easily. I am careful never to put water on it when it is warm. How To Convert Dutch Oven Recipes to Your Slow-Cooker |

I read that you were going to review the Keetsa beds, and I am anxious to hear your opinion. I need to buy something soon! I like the comfort and the price but their website is total greenwashing. Their "eco-beds" are imported from CHina and made with 80% petroleum based memory foam, which off gases so their literature is totally misleading. Their VOC report is from someone in Korea and what is a their added "non-toxic" flame retardant anyway, why not tell us? I can't wait for your take on this company. This is total fake greenwashing! I like the mattresses but they are made in CHina of 80 petroleum based foam which is in no way, shape or form green. Smaller size is better, but it is still shipped from China and use of fuel in shipping is based on weight more than size, and the weight is the same, so big deal. It is pathetic that they have to advertise non-toxic inks on their packaging to point to their green-ness because the core of the product, where it counts is NOT GREEN at all. My husband is disabled and creates lots of shaking and twisting trying to turn over in bed at night. He also needs something really comfy. Friends had recommended for years the Duxianna mattress which is ridiculously expensive. It is 1/4 the price of a cheap car, and I don't even own a car. We finally bit the bullet and bought this fabulous mattress and I have never regretted the money spent. We bought the California King size which is two twin mattresses connected together and covered by one large topper. Even if a child jumps on the other side, I can't feel it on my side. I find the profile of those big stacked mattresses kind of gross, so I like the elegant profile of these thin beds. The base is about a foot high and the topper is 2". And the two twin together design makes moving them much easier. It is very, very comfortable and after owning if for a couple of years, I am seeing no signs of wear. It is a great option if you are luck enough to afford it. Preview: Embody Memory Foam by Sealy A Year in Bed Project |
