I'm in the elfa camp and I always add to my house during the 30% off sales. I have a very small house so we don't even have hall closets or bathroom storage. I have a wall system in both of our bedrooms that covers the entire wall probably 7 ft in each room and also a 2ft section freestanding mudroom closet and all it cost for all 3 was $1000. And this includes some extras like 3 of the platinum drawers and many bookends etc. So you can do elfa for much cheaper than what some are doing. And I plan on taking mine with me since it is not a closet system and if I do my closets I really believe it would be an asset to my house and with how small my closets are it would only be around $250 during the sales. That is not bad and elfa really is durable and I have seen how cheap the others are in comparison.

We use FaceTime all the time. When you have a baby who is upset when they can't have daddy right then and there, calling with face time makes it better. It is wonderful to us and our son loves it. - 3D movies on the other hand I HATE. I refuse to see them. They give me migraines and they look awful. I just do not understand why hollywood is pushing them on us so hard when I hear from alot of people that they don't like it either.

To each their own I say but for me I have to echo the comments about separate covers. I will never share a blanket with my husband for the rest of our lives and it has probably saved our marriage. j/k- Really the bed may be harder to make but it is well worth it. Also we just have a king so there is massive amounts of space for me to deal with my tossing and turning without bothering my husband and I don't have to leave the room. But I would not begrudge someone to do whatever they had to do in order to get a good nights sleep.

I got rid of cable over 2 years ago (I think maybe longer) and I would never go back. We have an antenna on one tv in the bedroom, two apple tvs, netflix and we subscribe to mlbtv. It saves us an incredible amount of money considering that we used to spend about $120 a month on tv and now it is about $18. (We are baseball fans here so I'm not sure about the NFL package price I think it may be way more expensive so may not help the cost savings much.) The best part is my 3 year old son has no idea what commercials are and that makes me very happy.

I will always let my son choose his environment. I think it gives children confidence and helps them learn how to make some decisions for themselves. We had a house once where my dad refused to paint. It was grey. The entire house looked like a prison. I hate grey and I am not afraid of bright colors like so many people seem to be - in fact my whole house is very cheerfully colorful and that is just how we like it. Now if my child picked beige then I might just cry.

I bought a house and later found out that the guy we bought it from killed our neighbor on the front porch. At first it bothered me mainly because we were not told and I think we should have been. However I'm over it now and I don't regret buying our house because as weird as it sounds I feel this house has a wonderfully beautiful vibe. I feel like this house loves us and is very comforting. So basically I would not worry about anothers history with the house but how do you feel as you spend time there?

I won't get rid of my tv because we watch movies and game using it but I ditched the cable and could not be happier about it. Now our time is ours and we only watch what we really want to see and not just whatever crap may be on.

In our house a dehumidifier is a must too. I don't care how much electricity it uses - to have all my wood rot out and my drywall literally crying with moister freaked me out too much. My house is a big investment and I must protect it.

wow no way would any of this work for where I live. It has been over one hundred degrees for a month now and if I turned off my ac for 5 minutes the house turns about 85-90 degrees. (in the amount of time to vacuum all the filters)

To me this is hoarding and in my small space it is impossible. Not to mention that I rarely use coupons anyway because I feed my family healthy no GMO or processed foods so there is not much savings to be had for me. Plus I don't know any store around me that actually allows that kind of couponing

You have to make the choice yourself because everyone has their own opinion. Personally I HATE wood with a passion and would never buy a house with a bunch of it. Obviously that is not a popular thought. I would paint it but the next buyer may not. Do what makes you happy unless you are selling it within the next year or so.

My dogs also lick our microfiber sofa all the time and I will never buy another one because of that. The only thing that works for me is slip covers so I can replace them when cleaning no longer does the job.

We have had buckwheat pillows for about 4 years now and I will never go on vacation without my pillow. It is so supportive for me and my husband loves it because it never gets hot. It takes some getting used to but I do not even care or notice anything about it anymore. So glad I discovered them.
