I'd like to know which soft mint candies are used as well!

These look great - I've never seen/had something like this so I'm looking forward to trying it out.

Wow, Judiau! I think the suggestion to consider the size is good - but I don't think the smaller sized quilts shown are "useless" at all. Maybe not going to be used as long as a toddler bed quilt, but that doesn't hold quite the sentimental value of baby's first quilt.

Then you commented a second time to casually put down all the handmade gifts you received for your first child! You're so lucky to have talented people that care in your family and they seem less so for having someone so picky and ungrateful in theirs. Sorry if that sounds harsh but a handmade gift for a baby can be a personal sign of love for some people - I would be really hurt to hear a family member talk about my crafted gift like that.

@ko2 did you try googling the bodum frykat? it's available in black, white, green, orange and red. that seems like a fairly wide "array" of colors (for a grill) to me.

Thanks for the update. I'll keep my eye out for the World Customs and Culture app. Looks like it should be interesting.

Not sure if this was poorly researched or just quickly put together. Many of the links return a 404 error on the AT site. I'm also unable to locate the "World Customs & Culture" app either online or in the app store.

The geometric shapes trend has been happening for long enough to be tired at this point. I liked the look enough but it's ready to be shelved along with the keep calm poster. It's just to ubiquitous to feel genuine enough for a home (my home at least)

The velcro on top is likely meant to create an imbalance so that it spins more readily. Otherwise it would just vibrate in place without actually spinning around as you see in the video.

@trishdom it's not like she's going to record an album on this particular piano. i'm guessing it's for when inspiration strikes, so it's not necessary for the tuning to be precise.

but yeah, i wouldn't put my best piano in the kitchen. i don't think she needs to worry about that as she also collects "stray" pianos and holds them in her barn ... http://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/15/magazine/15neko-t.html

Certainly not "mid-range." I'm definitely one to shell out cash for my dog - but these items are only just OK, while the prices are outrageous.

I would definitely suggest checking Etsy for custom (cuter) dog tags and a wider variety of quality leads, harnesses and collars.

Their dog beds were nice (I love the igloo), but the prices just don't match up IMO. You can do better.

I just went to look at the Tolomeo Micro the other day and thought it was pretty flimsy and not worth the $$. The movement was jerky and squeaky.

I'm surprised more people haven't commented on this. Maybe the larger models are a bit different?

Why must every Color Therapy post feature an over-the-top wall mural?

If you don't like the pink, and think the room is small and dark - why would you go and add an extra layer of crazy over the whole thing?

I guess it's a matter of taste. I think it's awful.

I second madampince's question. I wish they would announce the winners at some point so I can stop worrying that my email isn't working properly.

I had a simpler version of the Bodum french press on my wish list. I could handle an upgrade though.
