I've actually tried the seed in microwaved water thing, because I use semi-sterile water for seed starting. Seems they sprout just fine everytime. What about some patterned wall paper or a striking neon color with black & white photography? I have a tiny hall in my home and it's currently lime green and I am ready for a change.
