Summer IS pie.
When I was 16, I won the sweepstakes prize, best of all baking, at the county fair, with a sour cherry pie that I had picked & frozen the cherries from the back yard tree in July in prep for the August fair. My Mother makes great pie, My Mother-in-Law introduced me to new pies, peach and blueberry and dewberry.
My Mother-in-Law passed away recently.
In her memory I will choose dewberry pie as my favorite summer pie.

20 years we still have plywood stairs...
someday, oak would be great, but
these gorgeous stair rugs would go a long way in making my stairs nice!
