My boyfriend and I both swear by our "mSecure" apps...it saves EVERYTHING in one place, although not visually. You can store web logins, airline mileage membership info, license, passport, credit card, and bank account info to name a few. It's all password-protected and can be backed up by desktop or by email. We were looking for something to replace the Blackberry Password Keeper when we switched to our iPhones...can't tell you how handy it is with all of the different logins we have and much easier to make travel arrangements by having both of our info handy!

The Instructables website is such a lifesaver. My hard drive on my 2007 MacBook Pro conked out (thank goodness I had an external back-up). I ordered a newer, faster hard drive from NewEgg.com along with the torq screwdriver set. I had a new hard drive in an hour flat. Keep in mind I'm a blonde chick who has never done this before! If I can do it, you can too...
I also added memory (which I also bought at NewEgg) before this and that was a total piece of cake!
Another thing to keep in mind when you DIY your Mac- if you replace things yourself you void the warranty.

Also, the bed! Where's that from? Your bedroom looks so relaxing.

Agree with the previous posts, maybe you don't watch too much TV, but I would get a larger screen and mount in above the mantel...you can then use the cart for vintage barware, which will fit in perfectly...

Thanks everyone! Scale is important to me too and I don't want guests to feel lost in such high ceilings. Keep the suggestions coming! I am moving next week!
