Agree with just about everyone here, but want to second the Etsy suggestion. Search for reusable cloth napkins as well as towels. There are many reasonably priced options. I use napkins made from absorbent diaper(!) material in my daughter's lunchbox and they work as small kitchen towels, too.

Can you tell us more about that awesome gold artwork hung above the shelf?! Where can I get it? Love the shelf, too - I can see doing that with IKEA shelving, adding a nice countertop to formalize it. Great idea!
