I had pink Holly Hobbie wallpaper in my bedroom from the time I was 4, until we moved when I was 18. The room was tiny and my furniture was too big, so I was stuck with it. Do You Remember Your Childhood Wallpaper? |

There are so many books I love on this list. (Dahlov Ipcar! Taro Gomi! Patrick Hruby!) A Book Of Sleep is one of the most beautiful books ever, though. It's available in hardcover, too. Such a favorite in my house! More Off the Beaten Path Board Books |

My oldest daughter has attended our state's silent film festival with me every February since she was 4. I took her to see an evening of silent and early sound film comedy shorts at a local theatre when she was 3. Kids are never too young for the classics!
