driving 5 hours to ikea? hm, doesn't seem worth it to me. i would never go with the pressure to get everything for our home. i go to have fun looking and usually end up leaving with a frame and some plates or something. guess i know now not to risk my marriage! Internet through ATT is $40 for me (but an upgrade might make netflix a little better). I cut out the cable. as a renter, i really appreciate the beautiful rental! it is so easy to see your home as temporary and treat it as such. now, i'm inspired to put a little extra gusto into my rental! it doesn't matter how long you're going to be there, you need to absolutely love your home! my mother's good friend's mother took her life in their home in the 70's. that very home happens to house my cousin and they haven't had any issues. if you can personally move on from the home's past, i'm sure you'll be fine :) but if you know it will give you the creeps, just move on.
