I would buy a shoji paper or film to fit either the entire window frame or just inside. It is temporary, cheap and shouldn't damage anything - and is the most minimal thing I can think of to go with your decor. If you're lucky you won't get shadows through the paper, and just a nice warm glow and less distracting corner. What To Do with Interior Windows-to-Nowhere? Good Questions |

Have to make a stand for the closeups, while the shoe pick isn't a great example. Designing at home is so much about vignettes when you're dealing with a lot of stuff on hand. It's just as much about the success of living in something you love, for people to mimic, as it is getting a feeling.
