I have a friend that was given a beautiful mattress. Not sure if it was the mattress or someone else in her building, but long story short.
BED BUGS, over a year later and having gotten rid of absolutely everything she owned, I'm of the thought process that a new mattress from a reputable dealer and even then using a bug bag are the best options. It was really sad having to help her throw out things she inherited and just wasn't comfortable trying to keep after months of trying to be rid of them.

Lovely home. I especially love the fearless use of color.

I agree, Calibre ROCKS! I had a lot of books in the wrong format for my Android phone. Now I can read them on my phone, Kindle Sony reader or what have you. It is indeed a wonderful program. He does updates for it pretty regularly too whenever any issues are discovered with it.

I really like it. Especially that molded resin rocker. That particular application for those chairs is refreshing and a welcome twist on a design classic.

A lot of great Ideas above me. Things that stick out the most for me. I like the plain frame, but it may work slightly better if you can manage a grouping of different sizes and shapes of them. Also, I notice the candles, change that up by choosing some really bold colors. The TV does indeed dominate the room. Move the bed under the two prints. Get some of those inexpensive tall skinny dimestore dressing mirrors up on the wall in a grouping, where the bed is in these photos. Hang the TV on the opposite wall of the bed, or corner near those mirrors I mentioned. If you're able to paint a charcoal grey would really make the white pop. I agree also that the darker woods should be painted white if possible too. Pull the doggie bed into the room with some sort of matching fabric accents in the curtains and pillows for both the bed and chairs. Maybe even bring it into the headboard a bit somehow. The greens you have would work better with the aforementioned grey as well, if you must keep the walls that colour make certain you add some pinks, purples and blues to help. The main thing that can be fixed quickly is the neutral tones are washing each other out so much. There are a lot of really good Ideas up there. I'm betting if you can take a bit of what you like from each one of us. Play with it a bit. You'll come back with something that will end up making yourself happy and perhaps WOW all of us too.

Those onion bulb ornaments could actually be fun year round if incorporated into a mobile. Things hanging is often so overlooked imho.

Definitely could be an interesting addition as a work space it would be awesome. Have worked with greenhouses with a similar principle for years and they do a great job.
