It's a long shot, because their merchandise changes, but I just bought quilted shams in the same color at Home Goods. I just changed my linens to gray and mustard colors.

I saw something on here, sorry don't remember the thread, but it was simple wooden pallets. I think they were painted and a mattress laid on top. Very inexpensive, and very cool looking. We have freecycle.com here and I see the pallets being given away all the time. Another suggestion, get your cover a size smaller than the bed, ie: I have a queen size on a platform so I bought a full size comforter, doesn't hang and puddle, so not so messy looking.

a big old chair and half. My dog Sparky loves it. Best seat for watching TV so when I'm in it, he has to be there also. Luckily it's a big big chair and we both fit.

That Lubi is the most uncomfortable thing to sleep on. My daughter has one and it's in "my" room. I hate it....anyway, not sure of your style but this is what I did..scoured used furniture stores, bought 2 identical foot-boards for twin beds, footboards because they are smaller and have a finished look on both sides, put slats and a twin size mattess, and lots of throw pillows...it is the most comfortable daybed I've ever had. I did splurge and buy a daybed cover from West Elm, linen and it gives it more of a sofa look.

The CB2 folds out to a full size bed and is super comfortable. Daughter has one in "my" bedroom, aka guest room.

With no money and no couch, I finally came up with an idea. I also needed a place for over nighters. I bought 2 of the same exact twin beds from a resale shop, ($50.00) took the 2 footboards, attached, wood for slats ($0.00), a very inexpensive mattress ($100.00) and asked for a linen daybed cover for my christmas present, then resold the 2 headboards for $25.00...total cost $125.00. I already had 2 bolsters and assorted throw pillows. It's comfortable and cozy with all the pillows and looks great. I didn't like the look without the arms (foot boards), but now it looks finished.

I have been putting bay leaves on my shelves for years. I have never had a problem with weevils or bugs of any kind. My grandmother-in-law taught me this over 30 years ago. As an extra measure for flour, I tape a bay leaf to the inside of the cover of my flour jar. Works like a charm.

I live in the NW part of CT, sleepy little town, one very small main street, but on the outskirts we have a very large chain grocery store. All this leads to, I found these Paczki there. First time I had even heard of them. Bought a box of 4, and in the words of jmalbert "ate myself silly" on them. Now that I know how to pronounce them I figure I should treat myself to another box. tee he Off to the grocery store.

Years ago, at least 15 yrs, my mom was sick with cancer. We needed to bring her bedroom downstairs. She loved wallpaper, and after much thought, we (the other kids and I) decided to wallpaper her new bedroom as a gift. Knowing she would be bedridden soon we decided to put paper on the ceiling also. She absolutely loved it, it turned out beautifully. She spent the rest of her days in that lovely bedroom and loved the papered ceiling. Thanks for bringing back a great memory, her smile when she looked up!

Body odors: My dear boyfriend, then just a friend, came out of my bathroom and apologized for the smell he left behind. I was more embarrassed then him. There went a big big ugly box of matches in plain sight in my bathroom.
Pets: It was summer, another friend came to visit with shorts on and my darn dog would not stop licking his legs. I had to end up putting my dog on his leash, he, the dog, flunked obedience school and my yelling was worse than the licking, at least in my mind. HeHe

Beautiful. I am so glad to see someone else that shops Target and is not afraid to admit it. I can't afford anything else except used furniture stores. I have the same cabinets in my kitchen, again a rental. I bought some of the wall decals you see all over the place and put them on my kitchen cabinets Just sporadically, mine are branches with birds and it really made a difference. Love, love your place!

Recharge every night both phone and laptop. Keeps me feeling safe. I live on one of the highest elevations in CT, we now have over 2 feet of snow and still coming down. I need to be sure my communication to the outside world is open..umm Okay, I need to make sure my laptop is running because I have nothing else to do.

Re: artwork in the bathroom. I collect vintage prints of dogs and I have them hanging in my bathroom. I just hung them with no afterthought on the humidity. I just checked, all is fine in the artwork.
I agree on the other baths. The only one I could relate to being an apartment dweller is #5 from This Old House. Small yet light and airy and the shelving in #6. Great use of space for storage when none is available on the floor.

This is a beautiful room absolutely beautiful and well deserved for the women staying here. As for the word gratitude. I believe everyone is interrupting this wrong. These women, myself included use this word every single day, every single minute. Grateful to be in a safe situation, finally, grateful to be alive, grateful for whatever gave them the courage to get where they are. This word has nothing to do with "things" only to do with their inner peace. Gratitude is a word we all should use more often and should be displayed proudly. AT thanks for bringing this to us.
