I so miss "Southern Accents" but "Veranda" has some great photography and gets me my southern fix. I also miss Mary Emerlings "Cottage Living" but BH & G, Coastal Living and County Living fill the need as well.
I've also purged my favorite articles and I keep them in magnetic photo albums for quick access and easy organization. I also use them for my recipes.

Love the transformation...and I've done the same thing in places that we have rented over the years...the qualms of being a miltary wife. The only thing that I would suggest is that you paint the back of the cupboards with black paint as well. It would really make your white dishes pop and compliment the counters. Try some black chalkboard paint and have fun with making picture frames around your platters, etc. Or try another dark, contrasting color like red or even yellow like your chandelier. Hope this helps, fondly, Roberta

My outbox is so much BIGGER than yours...it is my storage unit all 10x15ft of it...lol However...I have been clearing it out this month during my 31 day purge...I've gotten rid of at least ONE thing a day. Now I've just got to catch up on my blog posts ;} AND I will truly feel all the wonderfu relief.

Day 4: Remove One Item and Set Up Outbox
The 20/20 Home Cure

Wow...so many are taking the furniture placement personally :} We live in a small space, 687sq.ft. and we make it work. As far as books...I put mine on top of my kitchen cabinets and there is more than enough room in this lovely apt. for that. I'm assuming the "extra door" is a pantry/linen closet. A flat screen TV would fit on any of the bedroom or living room walls...not an issue really. As far as the ac units...furniture can be rearranged. The bed can go in front of the window in the summer when it's hot for the ac and back when it's cooler in the winter and you don't want to sleep near drafty windows. As far as the couch in the lvrm with the ac...again it can always be put onto the other wall where the cafe table is and the flat screen TV mounted accordingly...really people...be a little more open minded. It's not like you are living here in the first place.

wow...alot of feedback...lol
Well I for one just love your sense of humor and style and especially the living room walls and the bathroom artwork. I loved it so much that I shared it on my blog today. I call this WABI SABI...celebrating the imperfections in our lives and this week I really needed this. Thanks Kristen and house tour!!!
Fondly, Roberta
