Did you need to widen the slits on the inside of the table to get the plexiglass to fit? Just wondering as the white top just fits into the slits now so I didn't get how it would all go back together.

Thank you to those that posted recommendations! Taking them out of the highchair sounds like a great idea but when you have a child who's already underweight, there's no way I'm taking him out of the highchair as long as foods making it into his mouth!

What we do now is use one of the suction cup placemats on our table (with an Ikea highchair pulled up) and just put the food directly on that.
