I have to say that I agree with Johannav and Lily of the Valley re: the grammar and spelling police. It is hurtful and rude to point out someone's grammar in a public forum. I'm not sure what purpose it serves. I wonder if those people also bark at fellow diners in a restaurant if they are using the wrong fork? Probably. Lizzy's Lovely Little Dollhouse House Tour |

It's so great to find an old place with unpainted exposed brick! (Why oh why do so many people paint it??!) The weathered floors are lovely! I'm guessing the stuff tied to the railing is to keep a little dog from going through--- maybe? Love the mix of styles!! I'd have to agree with Kathryn though about the crooked blue stair paint. That would drive me batty. Other than that, gorgeous!! Lizzy's Lovely Little Dollhouse House Tour |

Love it! The windows are amazing!! I like the idea of just a screen separating the bed. I currently have a pseudo wall of "Pax" closets and I am liking the openness much better. Alas, I have too much clothing to store! I once lived in a space with only a microwave and electric skillet--- not even a hotplate! Worked fine. Very few people use double oven and 4 burners daily. VERY few. Where do you hide the cat box?? :-) Laura & Nickolas' Transformable Loft House Tour |

You can make anything work. My daughter, husband, and TWO girls are living in our guest house studio. It is 575 SF! We put in a "wall" of Ikea PAX wardrobes (to separate the space) that almost reach the ceiling. The children sleep in a 7 ft x 16 ft "room" on Ikea low bunk beds (the one where the bottom bunk is on the floor). The room has a window and a folding screen "door". It works GREAT! The parents sleep in the 12 x 16 ft living room on a very comfy pull-out bed that also has storage (Ikea Hemnes-- seriously, only Ikea comes up with affordable solutions to small spaces...). They have a full kitchen, one bath and laundry. They were only going to do this for a year while pursuing their BA degrees. Now they are in grad school... The kids don't know that their house is small. They are KIDS after all. The oldest is now 6. The key is organizing, not hording anything, and also the attic crawl space for storing out of season clothing. Good Questions: How Small An Apartment Can You Have a Baby In? |

Ha! Found the floor plans, I am not sure why I could not load more than 10 pics the first time 'round. Ok, there are many things that I love, first of all the fact that it is 400 SF. I am still nostalgic for the 400 SF place I lived in with hubby and 2 kids. Love making use of every square inch, love furniture that serves multiple functions, probably from growing up on a boat. Next, love the drawer-bed. Last, the sliding doors are great. I have been on Ikeahacker ready to use PAX doors for such a purpose. Thanks for the pics. Sorry I didn't see them all before commenting... Krista & Will's Compact Contemporary House Tour |

A floorplan would be helpful. Impossible to understand the layout, but great pics of flowers, drawings and cats... (WTF?) The few pics that made sense just look like an Ikea catalog. Not super original... Krista & Will's Compact Contemporary House Tour |
